Ev - Hand Knotted Wool Rug

The Ev rug is a mid pile, hand knotted wool rug in a simple statement colour block design. Made for the bedside, as a wall hanging or in the bathroom where it is soft underfoot and naturally water resistant.

Hand made by women weavers Cemile, Fatma and Gecer in the foothills of Buldan this piece takes between 4-6 weeks to weave and is finished with a simple two tone knotted fringe.

The hand knotting and dyeing process makes each Ev rug unique with subtle undulations to be celebrated. Bringing this rug into your home helps to support and grow the livelihood of women in their local community. Available in Ecru and Umber
